Singapore in 1991, TicketCharge has accumulated vast experience in
handling the ticketing needs of event organizers and show promoters.
TicketCharge provides a full suite of ticketing services for both
large-scale and small-scale events at venues around Singapore and
Malaysia. Our services to event organisers and show promoters encompass
the sale of event tickets via our network of distribution outlets,
online and call-centre channels, ticket inventory management, sales
reporting and in the near future, mobile ticketing services.
In Malaysia, we have ticketed for events such as the XXI Sea Games
2001, the annual Disney On Ice in Malaysia and concert events such as
the Vanessa-Mae Live Concert, Rock Legends Concert - Uriah Heep &
Headwind, Bond Asian Tour 2002, Aaron Kwok Live in Malaysia, just to
name a few. The company also handles ticketing for local and
international arts and theatre productions, such as CATS, Fame, Chang
& Eng - The Musical, Madame Butterfly Opera and Thousand Arms
Thousand Eyes, among many others. TicketCharge is also acting as a
ticketing agent for local tourist attractions such as KL Bird Park and
Menara Kuala Lumpur.
In Singapore, TicketCharge has handled ticketing for events such as the
annual Singapore International Film Festivals, and concert events such
as the Savage Garden Live Concert, Air Supply concert, Michael Learns
To Rock, Sheila Majid, just to name a few. The company also handles
ticketing for local arts and theatre productions, such as Chang &
Eng - The Musical, Guys & Dolls and Mail Order Brides, among many
others. TicketCharge is also the only ticketing agent in Singapore
offering tickets to the local tourist attractions such as Sentosa, the
Singapore Discovery Centre and the Singapore Science Centre, as well as
to overseas events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Malaysia.
TicketCharge was acquired by CalendarONE Pte Ltd in July 2000, a
leading Internet reservations and eCommerce solutions provider, to
complement its network of 'Travel and Entertainment' City Guides in the
Asia-Pacific region. CalendarONE provides TicketCharge with the
necessary IT infrastructure and resources to compete cost-effectively
and efficiently, in line with CalendarONE's competence in providing
online event registration and reservations for users.
In September 2000, TicketCharge launched its new ticketing portal at http://www.ticketcharge.com.my,
which provides real-time ticketing capabilities. This offering will now
enable consumers to select their preferred seating sections and to
reserve, confirm and transact their tickets online on a real-time
basis. With CalendarONE's alliances with major local and regional
branded portals such as MSN, Lycos Asia, CNET in Asia, Eastciti.com,
Pacfusion.com, Starhub, SingTel Yellow Pages and CNBC Asia,
TicketCharge's audience reach will now extend beyond Singapore to
include consumers in the region. |
